Company History

Stone Peak Power began with a simple insight from a homebuilder. He wanted to offer his clients more than just walls and roofs. He wanted to offer peace of mind.

Over 15 years ago, Charly Minkler, a longtime contractor and remodeler in the Four Corners region, recognized that homeowners were asking for built-in backup power systems. After extensive research, he chose Generac: the brand with the strongest technical support, best warranty coverage, and a long history as the company that invented generator technology.

That decision shaped the direction of the business. In 2021, Stone Peak Construction became Stone Peak Power. We are still family-owned, still grounded in craftsmanship, but now fully dedicated to residential and light commercial backup power. Today, Stone Peak Power serves communities with the same commitment to service and reliability that started it all.
